~13 Years~13 years ago have gone by way too fast. Thanks to my family, we were able to sneak away to one of my favorite places for a long weekend. It may very well have been the most fun I've ever had. I love everything old. Brad loves good food. We both love cozy. Charleston made perfect sense. After we'd been home a few hours, Brad looked at me and said, "I miss you." ![]() Having time be all our own, emphasized how crazy our current real life is. We had hours in the car and on the way back I said, "You know, this trip has made me realize we are going to be just fine with the kids are gone. We will actually have a whole LOT of fun!" Not that it's not fun now, because I do love all the noise, laughter, fights, and hugs. It's just time and seasons....:) We laughed almost constantly. We did a little window shopping. There is no point even going in a Louis Vuitton store. So we just looked. ![]() I DID, however, go in a couple high end consignment stores where I saw a pair of Prada shoes for the bargain price of $599. ![]() There was no schedule. We ate at weird times. One day we took a 2:00 nap. We caught a 9:45 pm showing of Robinhood complete with popcorn and Coke. The seafood was amazing. The plantations were fascinating. The four and five hundred year old oaks were breath taking. ![]() | |
